Service requests
The Housing and Environment Department of the Riga City Council has entered into a contract with a service provider regarding the collection of carcasses from public places within the administrative territory of Riga.
Residents shall provide information regarding the location of the animal's body by calling police phones or a service provider or informing the local government police in person.
Where information on such an animal has been received, in accordance with the contract:
1. Landless and wildlife bodies are collected from animal shelters;
2. Landless and wildlife bodies are collected from veterinary clinics with which the Department of Housing and Environment has concluded a contract;
3. Collecting bodies of non-farm and wild animals in the administrative territory of Riga, (parks, streets, seaside, etc.)
The person provides information on the body of the animal in person or on the phone to the government police, or calls SIA “1960” by phone +37126132132.Receipt of services
Collection of animal body shall be ensured after the call is received
